1.Who we are

BeTopSEO is an SEO and digital marketing company based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. In this policy, "BeTopSEO", "we", "us" and "our" refer to BeTopSEO and its website at betopseo.com.

We decide how and why your personal information is used when you contact us or use our website, so we are responsible for protecting it. Our contact details are listed in section 13.

2.Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill in a contact or audit form, send an email, call us or message us on WhatsApp, you may share:

  • your name, email address and phone number;
  • your company name and website address;
  • the details of your enquiry or project, and anything else you choose to tell us.

Information collected automatically

When you browse our website, we and our service providers may collect technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring website, approximate location and the date and time of your visit. This is gathered through cookies and similar technologies (see section 4).

Information from client work

If you become a client, we may receive access to your website, analytics, advertising or hosting accounts so that we can deliver the agreed services. We use that access only for your project.

3.How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiries and prepare quotes, proposals and free SEO audits;
  • provide, manage and report on the services you request;
  • communicate with you about your project, invoices and support;
  • understand how visitors use our website so that we can improve it and measure our marketing;
  • protect our website against spam, fraud and misuse;
  • meet our legal and accounting obligations.

If we send you marketing emails, we do so only where the law allows, and every message will give you a way to opt out.

4.Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them, and similar technologies, to keep the website working, to understand which pages are useful, and to measure the performance of our marketing.

Our website uses tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Where we run advertising campaigns, advertising tags from platforms such as Google Ads or Meta may also be used to measure results. These tools can collect the technical data described in section 2.

You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can block Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the website work.

5.Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers to run our website and communicate with you. Depending on how you interact with us, these may include:

  • website hosting, caching and security services;
  • form, spam-protection and verification tools, including Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service;
  • analytics and advertising platforms, such as Google and Meta;
  • messaging and email services, including WhatsApp.

These providers process information under their own privacy policies and only as needed to provide their services. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

6.Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes in this policy, for example while we handle your enquiry or work with you, and afterwards as required for legal, tax or accounting reasons. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

7.Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. However, no website or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8.Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, where relevant, the EU and UK GDPR, you may have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information, or to restrict how we use it;
  • withdraw consent you gave us, or object to marketing communications;
  • make a complaint to your local data protection authority.

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 13. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

9.International transfers

We serve clients in India and abroad, and some of our service providers, such as analytics and email platforms, may process information in other countries. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure your information is handled in line with this policy and applicable law.

10.Children's privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and we encourage you to review it regularly.
